Part of the Keys Education family
Broadwood School is a registered independent school providing education to young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, aged 7-18 years.
On behalf of the pupils and staff I would like to welcome you to Broadwood School. Broadwood is a school where pupils are valued and nurtured to achieve their personal best, regardless of their neurodiverse needs, starting points or previous experiences. Pupils are supported in becoming confident, resilient, and independent young people, who thrive on challenge, and are motivated to learn.
I am extremely proud to lead a team that is committed to promoting pupil's well-being, achieving high standards and providing the very best opportunities for all in our care. Staff work hard to deliver a rich and broad and balanced curriculum which addresses gaps in learning and prepares our pupils for their future education by equipping them with the skills and enthusiasm needed to embrace the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life. An Enrichment programme alongside access to Peak provides opportunities for our pupils to experience a range of outdoor activities as well as cultural experiences.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school, and to a happy and successful partnership with all our pupils and families.

We welcome referrals and enquiries from parents and local authorities. To discuss how Keys Education can support your child, please contact us using the form below or reach out to our admissions team directly.
Parents, carers, or local authorities can contact us to discuss the needs of the child.
We ask the person wishing to commission the placement (normally the Local Authority) sends over relevant information, such as, EHCP, previous school reports, professionals reports.
This allows us to conduct a thorough assessment to determine if we are the right provision to meet needs.
Once we feel needs can be met, we work closely with all parties to facilitate the placement process. If the Local Authority request the place, this is subject to funding being agreed at a panel meeting.
After admission, we provide continuous support to ensure the child settles in well and their needs are met.
