Dear Colleagues,
As you will be aware we recently launched two colleague forums to improve engagement and communication with colleagues and to strengthen colleagues voice in the business, enabling access to raise issues with senior leaders.
Through an election process with over 550 votes cast we were able to appoint 12 colleagues each as Representatives to both the Manager and Colleague Forums.
The two forums consist of a colleague forum, for all non-management colleagues, and a management forum for all managers, except regional managers who already have an operational forum to raise matters.
Each representative has been assigned a constituency and be the contact point for colleagues in that constituency. The topics raised by constituents will then be raised by the representatives at the forums for a response or action. Representatives will also be asked to give opinion or gain feedback on strategic and operational issues affecting the business.
Each forum will meet on a quarterly basis with an agenda driven by matters raised by colleagues. The details below show the forum representatives and how to contact them. We encourage you to get in touch with your representative and ask them to bring your views forward.
If you unsure which representative to contact, you can also email [email protected] or [email protected], or you can contact a member of the HR team.

I started working at Keys Group in 2018 as a HR Advisor, prior to that I worked at Birmingham City University within the HR department and I also have previous experience of working in Recruitment and L&D. Within my current position the role is very varied, on a day to day basis I provide advice and guidance in relation to policies, processes, employment legislation/law updates, benefit entitlements, case work (disciplinaries, grievances, absences) and other topics. Working at Keys Group has given great insight to the world of working within childcare and every day is very interesting and busy. I really look forward to representing all of my colleagues who are based in the Support Centre and being more involved with hearing your views, suggestions and feedback. The forum is going to add value and be an excellent opportunity for all employees within the business to raise topics for discussions, so together we collectively accomplish more for the business, our people/employees and the children within our care.
