A message from the Headteacher

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Castle Hill School. We are a small, specialist provision for pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), offering a tailored approach for children who require more focused support than is typically available within mainstream settings.

Many of our pupils arrive at Castle Hill having experienced challenges within the education system, including disengagement, disrupted attendance and, at times, unmet needs. We are committed to transforming these experiences by rebuilding confidence and fostering a positive relationship with learning in a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

At Castle Hill, we believe in “Regulation before Education”. We prioritise meeting the social and emotional needs of our pupils first, creating the foundation for successful learning. From there, we support each individual to achieve highly personalised and ambitious academic goals through a flexible and responsive approach.

Our aim is for every pupil to reach their full potential—both academically and personally. With the support of our experienced staff team and wider clinical specialists, we are proud to offer a provision where pupils feel understood, valued and empowered to succeed.
